In the Classical Charts - New World

In 2002, at the age of twelve, Jennifer Pike was the youngest ever winner of the BBC’s Young Musician of the Year. She had played Mendelssohn’s Violin Concerto. Not to include that ever-popular Concerto in our celebrations of his bicentenary would be a major oversight! Featuring it alongside Schubert’s Rosamunde and Dvořák’s New World, makes this a Popular Classics concert definitely not to be missed!
