Advertising in Concert Programmes

Benefits

  • Reach an audience of over 55,000 concert-goers through Ulster Orchestra concert programmes at concerts in Belfast, Dublin’s National Concert Hall and at all the Orchestra’s regional concerts across Northern Ireland (including those in Derry/Londonderry, Armagh, Enniskillen and Coleraine).
  • Directly target an affluent ABC1 marketplace. The Orchestra’s marketing department would be happy to discuss the audience profile with you.

Outside Back Cover £5,000 plus VAT
Inside Back Cover £3,500 plus VAT
Inside Full Page £1,750 plus VAT

These costs relate to full colour advertisements appearing in all programmes across the season. Please contact the Ulster Orchestra for rates for black and white advertisements on selected occasions, subject to availability.

Corporate Entertainment Package with Branding

  • One full colour advertisement in all concert programmes
  • Full colour credit & logo on inside front cover of all concert programmes
  • 25 complimentary tickets
  • 25 complimentary programmes
  • Advice and assistance with arranging corporate hospitality

Ulster Orchestra Masterclass Series

Benefits

  • Title sponsorship of the Ulster Orchestra’s Masterclass Series in its 2008/2009 season, e.g. The XYZ Masterclass Series with the Ulster Orchestra
  • Title sponsorship of the Ulster Orchestra’s Student Stand-by Scheme in its 2008/2009 season, e.g. The XYZ Student Stand-by with the Ulster Orchestra
  • The above title branding would be used on all promotional material linked to both schemes
  • Title branding on all promotional flyers used to publicise the Masterclasses and Student Stand-by Scheme. These are distributed to the student market in conjunction with QUB and the five Education & Library boards in NI
  • Title branding on all press releases associated with both schemes.
  • Each Masterclass would receive its own PR campaign. The Ulster Orchestra’s press and marketing team would work with the sponsor to maximise PR around the each Masterclass
  • Opportunity to brand the Elmwood Hall at Queen’s for each Masterclass.
  • Opportunity for the Orchestra and the sponsor to plan a creative joint campaign to this young student market.
  • Opportunity for the sponsor to target a specific message / campaign directly to this market.

Corporate Sponsorship Package

Benefits

Advertisement & Branding

  • As principal concert sponsor, a full page advertisement in the concert programme for your chosen concert (print run: 1,500)
  • Prominent branding on the title page of the concert programme
  • Event branding in the Waterfront Hall’s front-of-house and hospitality areas (subject to Waterfront Hall availability)
    NB: There would be an opportunity to hire the 4 large ‘Guardian’ banners positioned outside the Waterfront Hall on Belfast’s busy Oxford Street
  • Accreditation as Major Sponsor with full colour logo on the inside cover of all the Ulster Orchestra’s 2008-2009 Season programmes (print run: 40,000)
  • Full colour logo and credit on all posters and leaflets produced for the concert (print run: 30-40,000)
  • Sponsor credit on all concert tickets for the sponsored concert.

Corporate Hospitality

  • 50 complimentary premium tickets for corporate hospitality use per sponsored concert
  • 50 complimentary programmes for corporate hospitality use per sponsored concert

PR & Publicity

  • Full PR plan prepared by the Orchestra’s PR and marketing team – to include a photocall.
  • Acknowledgement as the title sponsor of the concerts on the press release and all associated concert publicity materials (e.g. all press ads, etc.)
  • Credit as sponsor on any radio advertisements produced to promote the concert

Miscellaneous

  • 10 tickets in the Orchestra’s season for use in special staff promotions or competitions, thus encouraging employee involvement
  • Branding and acknowledgement on the Ulster Orchestra’s website

Approximate Costs

  • A full concert sponsorship package is approximately £12,000 plus VAT, with the premium packages at £15,000-£20,000.

NB: The Ulster Orchestra is happy on occasion to explore the potential of tailoring packages to suit budget requirements. Joint/shared packages will also be considered (i.e. two companies at £6-7,000 each).

Education Packages

The Ulster Orchestra has an award-winning education and outreach programme. Sponsorship packages are available for one-off projects on request.
