Donations

The Ulster Orchestra is surely one of Northern Ireland’s proudest assets. Without the support of Friends and Donors its future existence within the community would be in jeopardy. That’s why my wife and I have become donors to the Orchestra and are extremely proud of all that it achieves.

Brian McKnight, Donor

A donation is an investment in high quality music which inspires the whole community. You may even like to make a contribution as a Birthday Gift for a friend or perhaps as an In Memoriam tribute for a loved one. Donations can be made at any time, and are of course much needed and greatly appreciated.

Your support is critical

Every gift takes us closer to our goal.

A donation is an investment in high quality music which inspires the whole community. Your gift would go towards achieving some of the following:

£50,000 would deliver the Pied Piper Education and Outreach project which will involve over 200 school children.

£25,000 would fund concert advertising on billboards and elsewhere to increase public awareness and develop new audiences.

£5,000 would enable the Ulster Orchestra to perform a small scale concert anywhere in Northern Ireland.

£1,000 would fund a project for a specific group such as our sensory and hearing-impaired workshops and performances.

£500 will pay for four musicians to play in a local community centre or school and give an associated series of workshops for up to 30 people.

Gift Aid - Let the Ulster Orchestra reclaim tax

If you are a UK tax payer, the Ulster Orchestra can claim tax back on donations at no cost to you. Your support is then worth around one third more to the Orchestra.

Higher rate tax payers can also reclaim the difference between basic and higher rate tax on their tax return.

Simply sign a Gift Aid Declaration, available on our Friends’ membership application form or available as a download.

Please contact the Heather on 028 9068 9061 or heather@ulsterorchestra.com if you require further information.
